The Hearing Implants Australia team has seen us empower clinicians across clinics and companies to support patients get the outcomes they deserve.
During Hearing awareness week we are highlighting some stories for people who have had the opportunity to receive an implantable hearing device.
For Dean who has had chronic middle ear problems since he was a child, the Ponto 4 (a bone conduction implantable device) has given him back the ability to communicate with his family again. Dean was fortunate enough to have his Audika clinician refer to him to the Hearing Implants Australia services and get access to funding through the NSW BCID pilot program.
